Effective Date: January 5, 2026
At Wigglesworth International, we recognize that Farm Data is a Farm Asset. This policy outlines how we protect the sensitive information generated by your "Origin Node" and how we use it to power the Wigglesworth Gateway.
1. The "Farmer Ownership" Principle
Wigglesworth adheres to the Ag Data Transparent (ADT) core principles. You, the producer, remain the sole owner of all raw data generated on your operation.
We act as the Data Custodian.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your individual farm data to third-party equipment manufacturers, seed companies, or hedge funds.
2. Data We Collect
To facilitate Identity Preserved (IP) exports, we collect:
Agronomic Data: Seed varieties, planting dates, and chemical/fertilizer application logs (required for Phyto-certification).
Machine Data: GPS-tagged harvest dates and yield-per-acre metrics.
Financial Data: Tax ID numbers and bank routing information for automated ACH settlements.
3. How Your Data is Used
Your data is used strictly for three purposes:
Verification: Proving to international buyers (e.g., in the EU or UAE) that the grain meets their specific sustainability and quality standards.
Logistics: Predicting harvest timing to pre-position railcars and barges, reducing your "wait time" at the elevator.
The Digital Passport: Generating the traceability certificate that earns you a price premium over local "bulk" commodity rates.
4. Anonymization & Aggregation
When we display "Market Intelligence" on our public website (e.g., average protein levels in a county), your data is anonymized and aggregated. No individual farm’s yield or GPS coordinates are ever visible to the public or other users of the Gateway.
5. Security & Storage
Encryption: All data is encrypted using AES-256 standards both in transit and at rest.
Access Control: Only authorized Wigglesworth trade officers and your designated elevator manager can view your specific field records.
Data Portability: You may export your entire data history from the Wigglesworth Gateway at any time in .CSV or .ISO formats.
6. International Data Transfers (GDPR/EU Data Act)
For shipments bound for the European Union, Wigglesworth complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We only share the minimum necessary data with foreign customs and buyers to satisfy legal traceability requirements (such as the EU Deforestation Regulation or ESG reporting).
7. Your Right to Delete
If you choose to leave the Wigglesworth Origin Network, you may request the permanent deletion of your data. We will scrub our active servers within 30 days, retaining only the records required by the USDA or IRS for audit purposes.
